Tree Hand Planting

$10.00 per tree. Price includes planting and tree price. This service is only available to customers that had a planting done the previous calendar year by the district to replace any dead trees.

Tree Planting and Weed Barrier Fabric

$125.00 per hundred feet of trees planted. This includes the price of trees, labor and fabric installation.

Tree Planting (without fabric)

$40.00 per hundred feet of trees. Includes cost of labor and trees.

Weed Barrier Installation(Without trees)

$85.00 per hundred feet of trees. Includes cost of labor, fabric and staples.

Earth Auger Rental

$50 a day. Will be fueled before you pick it up. See order and planting forms for the rental agreement. Great for handplants, and replacement trees!

CRP, Pasture and Lawn Seed Mixtures

Frequently Asked Questions

When will my tree planting take place?

Tree planting will take place in the spring, weather permitting, as our trees are stored in dormancy, we have a window from May to early June to get our trees planted before soil temperatures rise.

What steps do I need to take to ensure that the district is able to complete my tree planting?

We recommend working up the land, in the location that you are planning to plant trees, in the fall and again in the spring to ensure that it is soft, and the planter is able to go through it, and to ensure that the weed barrier fabric lays flat, and secure. There are also other forms you may need to sign before your tree planting takes place depending on its location, and soil suitability.

I ordered handplants, when am I able to pick up my trees?

The district will be in contact early May if you ordered handplants, to arrange a pickup time. We require your handplant orders to be picked up before our tree-day sale which typically takes place in the middle of June.
